What Is An Affiliate?
According to lexico.com, affiliate marketing is: A marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals. Therefore, if you become an affiliate, you are essentially: A person or organization officially attached to a larger body. Basically, through your website, you send a customer to a merchant’s website. If said customer purchases the item you’re promoting, you get commission for the new referral.
