Affilorama vs. Wealthy Affiliate (quick review)
Hello and welcome! Chances are if you’re here, you’re curious about options as to how you might make some income from home. You might have a full-time job and love it. You may hate it. Perhaps you don’t even need to work, but are looking for something to fill your time. Are you like me, looking for open windows and doors to lead you to somewhere great? A place called Financial Freedom! Whatever the case, I’m glad you stopped by!
It’s quick. I promise. After having taught for 12 years, my husband and I decided to home school our two kiddos. He’s a teacher also, and currently works in a school. (That’s our one income.) I’m diving into ways I can help supplement our income from home, all while teaching our kids and creating as many memories with them as possible.
While I’ve done the research, I’m learning it’s not easy to make money online. In fact, I’m learning that I need to be patient to persevere. I need more practice with the patience, but I’m getting there. I’m also not going to lie to you and tell you I’m making a ton of money. I am a beginner at this, looking to help others along the way. If I end up helping you become successful, we both win. That’s my goal.
My searches have led me to blogging. Blogging has led me to affiliate marketing. I have found a platform where I can indulge in my blogging adventure, and meet tons of like-minded people along the way. This company is called Wealthy Affiliate. I’ve written a simple review of it here. Please keep in mind the fact that I’m still a beginner. I do not claim to have all the answers. I’m still in the exploring stages myself!
Speaking Of Exploring
While I have been more than happy with Wealthy Affiliate, I ran across another company today. I am searching, just as you are, for more opportunities to earn some cash for our family. Thus, my search today led me to a company called Affilorama. Upon review, I found it to be very comparable to the platform of Wealthy Affiliate.
The ONLY reason I checked it out today is that it was advertising a free account. You are well aware that on one income, any budget is tight. Anyway, I signed up for a free account and looked into it a little more. It’s basically an online site that boasts the education and tools necessary for anyone to build a successful affiliate online business. I had to look into it to compare it to what I know of Wealthy Affiliate. What I found were several similarities.
Affilorama & WA Similarities

I’m No Expert
I want to be clear about that. I’m only researching and presenting my findings to you so that you can formulate your own conclusions and do what is best for you. I, however, am on a mission to financially help my small family. I’m looking for legitimate ways to earn some cash by working online from home. What I keep coming back to in my research, are a few common points.
1- Online Marketing is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme, but I have to begin somewhere
2- Find a company that makes you feel comfortable
3- Choose a platform that has a community of like-minded folks willing to help you
4- Don’t throw money at something that makes you feel totally skeptical
5- Blogging is fun, if you pick the niche meant for you
7- Create quality content to drive traffic, and ultimately, sales
8- Find appropriate affiliate markets to join
9- Learn from others who share your same goals and desires
10- Social Media can help boost traffic and revenue
After having checked out Affilorama, I can’t say all was for naught or that it was a waste of my time. I was able to compare its offerings to those of Wealthy Affiliate. I actually spent some time on the Affilorama website and learned a few things that I haven’t yet learned from WA. However, I was able to exit the website fully trusting my instincts, and sticking with Wealthy Affiliate.
Why Wealthy Affiliate?
In short, I trust it. I joined with a free account 3 weeks ago. I spent about 2 hours looking around, building my first website, creating a little content, and learning from hundreds of others doing the same thing. I realized I wanted to learn all I could to expand upon my newly created website, so I signed up for a Premium Membership. It cost $19. The fee will go up next month, but if I’m looking for a quality platform to host my sites and learn an incredible amount of information from both the available training and the community, I will pay the fee to keep my content there.
No matter what, if you’re starting an online business, it is yours. Everything you do going forward to create your own brand is your decision. I chose WA. It’s what’s right for me and my family. I would encourage you to check it out, too. Seriously, the community of folks at WA is nothing like I’ve experienced before. The community in itself is worth its price in gold. The founders, Kyle and Carson, are always available to you as well. They’ve been around for years, and are continually looking for ways to help people like you and me find success in our own online markets. If you have any questions or ideas, or if you want to share your own website (free traffic!), feel free to leave a comment. I would love to help in any way that I can. Cheers to your success in creating an online business!
Ciao For Now,
Happier At Home
